Console and Leaning Post Wraps for Center Consoles

The console and leaning post are at the heart of a center console boat. Everyone on board sees them up close. Wrapping them can refresh a faded helm, match a new hull color, or add a custom touch.

Console sides and front#

Console sides are often flat or gently curved, which suits vinyl. They are seen from the deck and by guests. Wrapping them can make the whole boat feel newer.

Dashboard#

Glare#

Glossy films on the dash can reflect sunlight into the driver's eyes. Satin or matte finishes reduce glare.

Leaning post#

Leaning posts have tubes, cushions, and storage. Vinyl can cover panels and storage doors, but avoid surfaces people sit or lean on constantly. Cushions are separate and usually reupholstered rather than wrapped.

Knees, feet, and gear rub against consoles. Choose durable film and consider protection film in high-wear spots.

Leaning post storage and coolers#

Many leaning posts include storage compartments, rocket launchers, or built-in coolers. Doors and lids are good candidates for graphics, as they're flat and visible. Hinges and latches need to be worked around carefully. Avoid wrapping the top of a cooler seat, as people sit on it and it needs to be easy to clean.

Console windshields and grab rails#

Console windshields and grab rails are high-touch areas. Keep film away from the edges of the windshield frame, and don't wrap grab rails with standard film, as constant hand contact will wear it quickly.
